PP PORDASI Celebrates its 58th Anniversary along with the Declaration of PORDASI Pacu, PORDASI Equestrian, PORDASI Polo and PORDASI Horseback Archery.

The Indonesian Sporthorse Society (National Federation also known as PP PORDASI) has just ended the 2024 Hybrid PORDASI Extraordinary National Conference (Munaslub) with the theme ‘Organizational Transformation, Towards PORDASI’s Independence’.

This gathering of the 2024 PORDASI Hybrid Munaslub was held at the Aston Kartika Grogol Hotel with the sole agenda to establish and ratify the 2024 PORDASI AD/ART (Rulebook), which defines PP PORDASI as an umbrella governing body that houses the Federations of PORDASI Pacu (Horseracing), PORDASI Equestrian, PORDASI Polo and PORDASI Horseback Archery. This organizational transformation was declared to coincide with PORDASI’s 58th anniversary.

“With the spirit of togetherness and after various considerations, we have agreed to improve the status of the PORDASI organization, which was previously a national federation by delivering achievements in Indonesian equestrian sports at both the national and international levels. “With it, also by upholding the principles of sportsmanship, fairness, togetherness, and strong patriotism and nationalism,” says Chair of the South Sulawesi PORDASI Provincial Committee, Muzayyin Arif, S.Pd.I, M. Pd.

“Herewith the Articles of Association and Bylaws (AD/ART) of the PORDASI National Confederation and the four national federations have been prepared and ratified,” stressed the Declarator, who represented the agreeing majority of PORDASI Provincial Administrators (Ketua PengProv).

Present to witness at the location were representatives of Central KONI, National KORMI, and PP PORDASI Supervisory Board Saut Situmorang.

A warm welcome to the 58th PORDASI Anniversary was delivered by the Chairman of the Equestrian Commission Brigadier General TNI Mar. Purn. Ivan Ahmad Rizky Titus; Chairman of the Horseback Archery Commission Major General TNI Agape Zacharia Dondokambey; Chairman of the Horseracing Commission Fauzan Haviz, SE., MBA., MALS., MM also known as Andi Fauzan. All were accompanied by Agam Tirto Buwono, Harsoyo, Marjoni, and Gusrial and the Chairman of the Polo Commission, represented by Hendra Sukanto.

At the closing of the 2024 PORDASI Hybrid Munaslub, the Chairman’s speech was presented by PP PORDASI’s very own Secretary General, Adinda Yuanita, where she also confirmed the 2024 PORDASI AD/ART and issued a statement of attitude from all the 2024 PORDASI Munaslub participants, which had been agreed upon in the plenary session discussing strategic matters that would be addressed immediately.

Appreciation for PP PORDASI was also given by the Chairman of the National KORMI, Hayono Isman, who was represented by the Deputy Chairman of the National KORMI, Bambang Rus Effendi. The message was that PORDASI must continue to be united, and it was emphasized that there would be no other PORDASI.

Apart from that, appreciation was given to the President of Central KONI Deputy General Drs. Tursandi Alwi, who represented Central KONI Chairman Lt. Gen. TNI Retired Marciano Norman. “Happy 58th Anniversary PP PORDASI,” he stated.

“Changes and challenges in organizing a Federation are normal, but all in all, we must focus on the ultimate goal, which is to advancing Indonesian horse sports,” added Tursandi.

“I advise all of us to focus as much as possible on the preparations for PON XXI Aceh-North Sumatra 2024, which is only 91 days away, in coordination with the Central KONI and PB. PON XXI Aceh & North Sumatra region,” added Tursandi.

The Chairman of PP PORDASI expressed his thanks and appreciation to all the Pengprov and Pemda of PORDASI who were present at the 2024 PORDASI Munaslub, the Chairman of the PP. PORDASI Commission, and the SC and OC of the 2024 PORDASI Munaslub.
